David Guy has been working as a volunteer for more than fifty years in a variety of fields and holds a long list of public positions, among others as a member of the management of the Ramot community centers network, chairman of the Mount Carmel Haifa committee, MM chairman of the management of Beit Hagafen, the Jewish-Arab center in Haifa, member Management of the Haifa Fire and Rescue Association, chairman of the management of the Haifa Tennis Center, public representative at the Regional Court in Haifa, member of the board of directors of the company for the development of Old Acre and chairman of the company, member of the management of the government company for tourism, member of the management of Shech and member of the management of the film festival.
Guy is a graduate of the first class of the Urban High School where he served as chairman of the student council and later served as chairman of the student union at the university.
"Haifa for me is everything. In the past I had several offers to move to other places such as Australia, but I gave up on all these offers. I have lived in Haifa for 75 years, know every corner and every street and I am not looking for other places, certainly not abroad. I love Haifa and I enjoy my activity."
