(Hai Fe) - Four shields were placed today, Sunday 3.3.24 in Haifa.
This is a new model of shields developed by the Home Front Command in order to respond to the threat scenarios on towns like Haifa that are not on the conflict line - Haifa is the first city in the country where the new shields were placed.
The shields were placed in places selected for this purpose by representatives of the Home Front Command and the Haifa Municipality:
- In the Wadi Nisnas neighborhood, corner of Khouri Street and Shahada Street
- Kiryat Haim beach promenade (in the northern parking lot)
- Shekmona Promenade (near the Seas and Lakes Research Institute)
- On the Hecht promenade (next to the playground at the southern end of the promenade)
Responding to passersby
It should be emphasized that the shelters are intended to provide a response to passers-by who are in open areas where there are no other protection options, and are not intended to provide a response to residents who are in their homes and cannot reach the shelter during the 60 second warning time. Also, the shelters are part of a whole system that includes public shelters and various parking lots.
The municipality reiterates that in any case of an alarm, one must act according to the "most protected" instructions of the Home Front Command.

The door must be external and the frame mounted on the wall itself. According to the photo, the door is internal and that's bad
Very good, Mia. Good and blessed week
