On Thursday, February 22.2.24, XNUMX, the first round for the season of the Super League competition for athletics athletes in grades XNUMX-XNUMX took place at the Rishon LeZion Athletics Stadium, where the champions of the city of Haifa were announced.
After an experiential opening activity with coach and network star Amit Portal, the competition began. 13 teams from school clubs of the Premier League across the country competed for the title of the winning school, when outstanding students in their field competed head-to-head in the high jump, long jump, shot put, hockey shot, 60 m run and 1,000 m run.
7th-8th graders:
In the 60 m run, the first place was taken by Yiri Samdar from the Reali Haifa High School, with an amazing result of 8.52 seconds. Leary also won first place in the long jump, with a result of 4.50 meters.

In the 1000 m run, Yair Bortman from Reali Haifa won first place with a time of 3:10:32 minutes. In the high jump, Yonatan Zoraf from Reali Haifa won first place, with a jump to a height of 1.60. In the shot put, Nitai Ben-Zakan from Reali in Haifa took second place, with a result of 11.34 meters, after Matan Haim from Makif K. Rashalz.

In the long jump, Yuval Bar Yehoshua from the Reali in Haifa won the second place with a result of 4.81 meters, and immediately after her was Nega Grabsky, also from the Hebrew Reali, who took the third place with a result of 4.71 meters. In the 60m run, Yuval Bar Yehoshua won first place, with an amazing result of 7.98 seconds.
9th students:
In the 1000m run, Noam Lerach Nerieli and Iti Gruner from the Reali Haifa won the second and third place respectively, with amazing results of 3:02:21 minutes and 3:03.77 minutes. The first place was won by Uri Gabrieli from Makif H. Rashalz with 3:01.19 minutes.
The competition was divided into four rounds, where the rounds consist of individual heats in which the representatives of the clubs accumulate points for their team. This is the first cycle, in which each school won points according to the number of individual victories gained by its team members. After the fourth, group stage, the winning school in the annual league will be announced.

After many efforts, we managed to implement the first round of the Premier League competition in athletics. We were blessed with perfect weather, we started the morning with an experiential X-circle activity with network influencer Amit Portal and from there we started the day. The competition was professional, fun and experiential for athletes especially during this period.
