(haipo) - A train that was on its way from the southern region to Haifa hit a herd of cows that was on the track in the Binyamina area and stopped in emergency braking. The panicked passengers got off in the middle of the road. and switched to an alternative train that arrived from Haifa.
Sigal Sternberg, who was on the train, told Hai Fe:
We were traveling from the south to Haifa, when suddenly we heard a tremendous boom and the train made an emergency stop. The passengers were thrown forward and were very frightened. There was a smell of burning, probably following the application of the brakes.
The passengers fell into chaos and it was not clear what was happening. Passengers were later informed to wait on the train. We waited about 40 minutes on the train that hit the cows.
After about 40 minutes, inspectors placed special ladders from the rear (southern) car. Apparently, the inspectors wanted to prevent a meeting between the passengers and the cows that were released from the front car. The passengers began to walk south towards carriage number 1 (the southern) and there they descended on special ladders, dragging luggage with them.
A train that was on its way from the north to Tel Aviv was the replacement train. It stopped in Binyamin and dropped off passengers at the station and then continued to us to pick us up from where we stopped. On the alternate train were passengers going to flights in Tel Aviv. They were stressed because there was a risk that they would miss their flights.
The replacement train is now returning north with the passengers who got off the train that hit the herd of cows.
The Chariot of Israel was delivered to Lai Pa:
Due to injury to an animal, train traffic between Binyamina and Hadra West stations was temporarily stopped. The railway crews are in the field and are working to restore traffic to normal this evening. Shuttles were ordered to the stations.
We recommend passengers to use alternative public transportation.
Updates later
Let's hope they didn't suffer too much before they died, hopefully it wasn't a horrible death in great pain... not that the alternative is much better.
Thank God you didn't turn over...
Nothing is certain today, even getting home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
A year ago there was a collision with a herd of wild boars.
Terrible.
For the treatment of Israel Railways. Have a good and blessed week everyone
A similar thing happened to my uncle in Argentina, only the travelers there made themselves a meal on the fire from the meat of the cows.
Meir, have you ever traveled by train? Definitely open doors for passengers, there is simply an insane height between the door opening and the track floor, without a ladder it is not possible to board any train unless it stops at the elevated platform for passengers.
Let's face it that there are movements and sectors here that drag Israel like a weight on the leg to become a third world country.
One of two things: either we wake up in time, deal with them with a heavy hand (legislation, enforcement, punishment), equal integration and recruitment, legal reform, disconnection of decision-making from religious and ethnic mechanisms, and "reset" the country to a path of science, progress and compliance with the law.
Or the country will be destroyed and eaten from the inside by them - and only the ways in which this will happen will surprise us every time.
Crooked bridge. A train got stuck. Riots at the entrance to the city. Burning cans. Spitting on police officers and more.
And if there is a very old man or an old woman, then they should kill with a ladder? Why don't you open doors?
