Time to reveal
For everyone who follows my journalistic activity here at Hai Pa News Corporation and after the paintings I share, the exhibition is an opportunity to be exposed to those paintings in reality in a tangible way, outside of digital media, together with another art-seeking audience.
The items that will be presented in the exhibition were carefully selected, thanks to the professional curator Rina Gnosov. I would also like to thank the public relations Sadan Productions Ltd. under the management of Michal Sadan, who accompanied the exhibition.

About the painter Yossi Lubalski
The painter Yossi Lubalski was born and raised in the city of Hadera and has been living in Haifa for two decades. He is an architect by professional training, and in the last decade devotes a large part of his time to painting with oil paints and other techniques. The artist writes about the many years of involvement in the craft of painting in his poem "She was always there": "She chose me/ I did not choose her./ The hand of fate finally brought us together/ She is no longer a hint or a momentary flirtation/ She is a line muse In the midst of my being and my creations/ be united to us together."
In the current exhibition, the artist presents views of the valley and the Galilee alongside urban views of the city of Haifa. Lubalski often goes out into nature out of love for the country's landscapes and a longing to find a place of calm and peace, and he records with his brush expansive landscapes, orchards, fields and furrows, graphic lines of the landscape, the meeting of the tops of the trees with the blue sky and subtle changes of light and atmosphere.
The artist begins and ends the work of painting in nature, and with a sensitive hand records an initial, direct and fresh experience of meeting the landscape. Lubalski paints with a nostalgic look the landscapes of the good old country, and with the help of the rich colors and soft brush strokes he creates pastoral landscapes that draw the viewer to them. In addition, he describes in poetry the creative process and his admiration for the beauty of nature:
At at between a stain and a color,
Between furrows and fields
Between sky and cloud
A show is created for him.
Drip touches of blue and putty,
constant dialogue for episodes,
between cloth and feelings,
on a paved and sometimes curving road
And all for one purpose
The sharpness of creation.

Land of Israel landscape painting
Lubalski continues a tradition of Israeli landscape painting that dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century, when the artists went out into the landscape not only for artistic reasons, but also as an expression of Zionism and love of the land and out of awe at its beauty.
In the second half of the twentieth century, landscape painting was seen as marginal due to the preoccupation with existential issues that were on the agenda at the time, while from the 2000s onwards landscape painting again became a favorite subject of many painters and painters. The return to the landscape stemmed from the desire to distance painting from politics in favor of personal painting, and in order to get closer to something more significant and sublime than everyday life.
In recent years, Lubalsky has also been painting the landscapes of Haifa:
The port, the Carmel, the seashore, and the old neighborhoods, such as Hadar and Bat Galim, in a style that varies between the figurative and the abstract, and it strives to create a dialogue between nature and the urban. Lubalski testifies that wandering in Haifa and documenting its various sites strengthened his emotional connection to the city, to its varied scenery that connects the sea to the mountain, and to the human landscape of the city characterized by a mix of different peoples, ethnicities and religions.
Bat Galim is one of the artist's favorite neighborhoods, and the view of the seashore, the flat neighborhood, the central boulevard with the towering Washington trees and its historic houses - all these bring him back to the landscapes of his childhood in her room. Lubalski finds a significant point of connection for him between the appearance of the Bat Galim neighborhood and the settlements and landscapes of the valley: the architect Richard Kaufman designed the Bat Galim neighborhood as well as settlements
In the valley, such as Nahalel and Kfar Yehoshua, and thus a surprising meeting point is created between Galim and Talemim and between Haifa and the valley.

Open an exhibition for your son too, no problem, not everyone has to love, but you don't have to slander either
My 6 year old son draws better than this.
What's up with you?
Amazing 🤦🏼
Yossi is my friend on Facebook. Over the years I have enjoyed his paintings that remind me of landscapes and scenes from my childhood as a child of the city of Haifa. I will try very hard to come. Good luck

Highly recommend to Hifaites to come
This time we will come from Tel Aviv 🤷 but worth it 😃
I wished for the day when you would go to a solo exhibition with your paintings, and here it is happening and in the city of Haifa, which is also a childhood landscape. I feel that everyone who loves the city, and in general loves the landscapes of our country, will feel waves of pleasure, when they look at the paintings through the interpretation of your eyes and the brush in your hand. I love the fact that you do most of the work in the field, just like in the old days, in times when there was no camera, and every painter would pack his equipment and go out to paint in the field, standing in the hot or cool air, in conditions that are not always easy to bear, and painting "Alle Prima" what his eyes saw . I like the fact that a large part of the paintings, it is evident that they were painted with safe, quick brushstrokes, and the reference to the painted object is not beautified, which gives a feeling of authenticity. On the other hand, I also love your large paintings, in which a large part of the work is also done in the studio, works that require a continuous process, and I still always see your hand there, always know how to recognize your paintings because of your line, which I already recognize, and because of the subjects you choose to paint , including your partner who serves as an integral part of the landscape in quite a few cases. Yossi, I wish you continued success with the opening of this important exhibition, which opens at such a difficult time when the people are in danger, in which our beloved mother is in danger. Waiting and looking forward to the opening, good luck, so excited for you, Sigal
Easy beauty
A beautiful exhibition Yossi
What a beauty!
