A city rally for the return of the abductees from Hamas captivity was held in the Carmel Castle
The mother and brother of Maxim Harkin, a resident of the kidnapped Carmel Castle in Gaza, participated in a city rally: "There is no victory without the return of the kidnapped." About 120 residents participated in the exciting evening held at the Carmel Castle on Wednesday 7.2.24/136/XNUMX to mark four months into the war and to call for the release of the XNUMX abductees and those held captive by Hamas.
Among those present at the event were Tela and Peter, the mother and little brother of Maxim Harkin, a 35-year-old resident of the city who was kidnapped on the morning of October 7 from the Nova Nature Party complex. Tela and Peter received a warm hug from Mayor Aryeh Tal, who has been accompanying the family since that black Sabbath.

The mayor, Aryeh Tal, spoke at the rally:
The terrible Shabbat of Shiva in October opened a huge rift in all of us. Since then, the life of every Israeli, Israeli, and Jew in the world is divided into two: before the Sabbath in October - and after that terrible date.
Four months since the outbreak of the war that was forced upon us, 136 families are still living in total darkness, in endless worry and an unbearable longing for their walls, still held captive by the monsters of the Hamas terrorist organization in Gaza.
Among those precious families, who were thrown at once into an unimaginable hell, is also the family of Maxim Harkin, who has been waiting for him ever since, day and night, thirsting for pieces of information and comforting news. Dear Harkin family, Tela and Peter who are here with us, we all hug you, pray and wish to see Max here with us soon, in the arms of his family and friends, safe and sound.

The artistic part of the event
During the evening, which was held at Beit Lazarus under the leadership of the Tirat Carmel Municipality and the Tirat Carmel Community Center, Maxim's friends and community representatives spoke, including Ira Tsipkis, who has been accompanying the Harkin family for the past four months and his son Achikam, who is also Maxim's commander; And the rabbi of the Hesder yeshiva in the city, Rabbi Harel Cohen. The resident singer Michal Nahum, accompanied by Roi Perkash, moved the audience in the artistic part of the event.
The mayor, Aryeh Tal, went on to say:
There will be no victory in this war without the return of all the abductees! Women, men, children, young and old - their return home is the moral duty of the State of Israel and ours as a strong and solid society. Tonight's rally is just one expression of the commitment of the city of Tirat Carmel to continue to stand by the Harkin family and all the families who are going through agony, to accompany them in the most just struggle there is, until we achieve the goal - the full return of all the abductees home.
