(haipo) - Secondary education in Haifa - parents and students of the Ramat Hanasi school went out today to demonstrate against the decision not to open a high school. According to them, when the school was established as a growing school, they were assured that it was a six-year school. And what's more - during the current year there was no hint that 10th grade would not be opened in the next school year. Students claim that teachers told them that they would accompany them during graduation, since they also did not know that a high school was not going to open.

According to the parents, they were told that they could enroll their children in any of the high schools in the city. At the meeting of the parents at the director of education in the city, it was agreed to do a test to see how many parents really want to continue at the Ramat Hanasi school.
The parents were asked to enter and choose the high school they are interested in, and if they are interested in the Ramat Hanasi school, to send an email in which they write that they are interested in the school.
According to the parents, the municipality claims that the number of students in the school will not allow majors to be opened in the next school year. On the other hand, the parents say that there are ways in which majors can be opened even if the number of students in the school is not high.
Schools were partially suspended
The parents partially canceled school on Wednesday, 07/02, from 8:00 to 11:00. On Thursday, 08/02, they shut down the entire school day and today, along with the complete shut down, they are also holding a demonstration. The parent leadership says there is full cooperation from all parents and students. In addition, they say that they see no other solution to the situation other than deciding to open a high school at the president's level as promised.
Ministry of Education: We approved 3 years ago to open a middle school at the president level
The Ministry of Education said in response that it approved three years ago to open a middle school at the president's level. "The issue of registration for educational institutions applies to the local authority. The decision to open all schools in the city of Haifa to register for graduates of Ramat Hanasi Middle School was given to parents and students thanks to the fact that this is an independent division (the only one in the city), which has no link to one or another high school. It allows every student to choose from the abundance of trends that exist in the city according to the inclination of his heart."
The article about us being racist because Klish doesn't allow Druze to study in the city?
Has the token fallen that the city has more residents than the number of schools?
Most importantly, but don't forget how racist we are
