(Hai Fe) - A drug laboratory with hundreds of cannabis plants was located in a residential apartment.

The police told Lai Pa:

The policemen of the Nesher station in Hoof district, revealed today (Mon. 6/2/24), as part of an initiative in the fight against the scourge of drugs, a residential apartment in the city of Nesher, where it was found that the bedrooms had been converted to use as a drug laboratory, when they located and seized about 200 cannabis plants .

About 200 cannabis plants

In an operation carried out today (Tuesday 6/2/24) by the Nesher police officers, the officers located a hydro lab containing about 200 cannabis plants as well as a lot of equipment used to grow and distribute the drugs.

At the end of the activity, a suspect resident of Acre in his 30s was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.
All the substances suspected to be drugs were seized and transferred to the forensic laboratories of the Israel Police for further evidence extraction.

According to the findings of the investigation and the evidence, the suspect will be brought before the Haifa Magistrate's Court tomorrow (Tuesday) for a discussion on the extension of his detention. The investigation continues.
