The Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, visited the Gordon Academy in Haifa, was impressed by the advanced and innovative teaching methods, and also met the staff of the 'Ort Shlomi' school, whose students, who were evacuated from their home, are staying at the Gordon Academic College yesterday hosted the Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, the director of the Haifa district at the office Education, Sa'ar Harel, and the staff of the Ministry's headquarters.
The visit opened with a tour of the advanced learning spaces, after which the minister experimented with advanced teaching methods, including virtual and augmented reality technologies, coding robots, answered puzzles that were presented on interactive tables and expressed interest in incorporating them into schools. The visit was extended due to his impression of the technologies.

It is an honor for us to host the Minister of Education, who chose Gordon Academy as the first college of education he visited in this capacity. We were happy to present to him the most advanced teaching methods in the world, the innovative pedagogy, the learning spaces as well as to report to him about the extensive international activity in which we are partners. The minister also met the faculty of the 'Ort Shlomi' school, 150 of whose students have been staying at the Gordon Academy for the past period. The teachers said that they appreciate the fact that, despite all the difficulties of the evacuation, the Gordon Academy serves as an educational home for their students, allowing them to maintain an adequate study routine.
