On Thursday (18.01) officers and soldiers of the Haifa District of the Home Front Command came to visit the home of Shlomit and Moti, Holocaust survivors living in Kiryat Motzkin.

The inspiring story of Shlomit and Moti's heroism during the Holocaust
The officers and soldiers, including emergency population guides and protection agencies have been working since the beginning of the war in the Haifa district to guide the residents of the area regarding the directives of the Home Front Command, training of students and educational staff in the schools, as well as inspections of shelters in the public space.
During the visit, Shlomit and Moti received personal training, and heard from the soldiers about their role during the war and their contribution to strengthening resilience on the home front. The soldiers listened to the inspiring story of Shlomit and Moti's heroism during the Holocaust.

Sergeant Major Noam Maman, the emergency officer in the Haifa district said after the meeting:
The resilience of the residents in the rear is a necessary condition for winning the war. After meeting Shlomit and Moti, and hearing their story of heroism, we know that our rear is strong and we came out no less strengthened than them.
