In an exciting ceremony that was held today, Sunday 14.1.24 to mark 100 days since the captivity of the abductees in Gaza, the head of the Asher headquarters council, Moshe Davidovitch, thanked the municipality of Kiryat Motzkin for the relocation of the regional school 'Solam Tzur' on the border of Lebanon and the impressive absorption of the students in the city. At the request of the students who defined the school as a warm and enveloping home, a new name was even given: Sotskin (Solam Tzur in Motzkin).

We at headquarters thank you Haim Tzuri, the education department and the entire municipality for immediately providing us with a warm and welcoming home for our students. It is not obvious at all. The mutual guarantee and giving is especially exciting in this challenging time.

Thanksgiving ceremony for Kiryat Motzkin
In the former 'Ort' Motzkin high school complex (the students moved to a new school built for them), students who were evacuated from various settlements on the northern border in the 'Meta Asher' regional council, come every day to study at the 'Solem Tzur' school which is now located in Kiryat Motzkin. This morning, as mentioned, a ceremony was held at the mythical Goshen Hall with the students, teachers and captains of the council and the local authority.

Haim Tzuri:
I am not happy that you are here, I wish you could now be each in your own home and school, but it is important for me to tell you that we are here for you with all our heart and soul and give you the envelope of the house here in Kiryat Motzkin.
The mayor is not responsible for the loss, it is the city's
As a student at Solam Tzur High School in my past, I was very excited to read. If one good thing came out of the terrible disaster of the seventh of October, it is the solidarity that was reborn between different communities and different areas. Members of Kibbutz Ra'im in Kiryat Gat, students of the Western Galilee Kibbutz in Kiryat Motzkin. This is our hope as a society for repair and healing .
Kudos to the Motzkin municipality for accepting the students in these difficult days...
Good luck dear students..
In Kiryat Motzkin there are students from places that were evacuated like the grandchildren of Delomed Boitzman who also deserve it
All the best to you, my friend Haim Tzuri, the mayor of Kiryat Motzkin. Strength. Exciting action
