Yesterday (Sun. 31/12/23) police officers of the Haifa station carried out increased activity in the city as part of the preparations to prevent incidents of violence or disorder in the public space in preparation for the new civil year - 2024.

A preliminary investigation reveals that the aforementioned was attacked by a suspect, the driver of another vehicle on the grounds of road bullying and after apparently clinging to his vehicle and the vehicle's mirror was broken as a result.
Thanks to immediate investigative actions, the investigators were able to reveal the suspect's identity and arrest him after he arrived at his home in the city. The suspect, as mentioned, was brought in for questioning and the police intend to bring him today (Monday) to the High Court, requesting an extension of his detention.
