◄ An exhausted brown sea turtle was ejected in the trawl

The Nature and Parks Authority asks the public to be vigilant for sea turtles. Every year when winter comes and the sea is high and stormy, weak and injured sea turtles floating in the sea, are swept with strong currents and winds to the shore and are thrown out when they are exhausted.
Dr. Yaniv Levy, Director of the Sea Turtle Rescue Center at the Nature and Parks Authority, said: "It's in your hands, you saw an injured turtle on the beach, one phone and you can save it please call the hotline of the Nature and Parks Authority 3639* Please wait with the turtle until you receive instructions, it will be very helpful to attach a photo.
