The new "Afka Center" commercial center will begin operating At the beginning of the year 2024. The center was established on an area of ​​about 6 dunams at the intersection of the streets Naomi Shemer Vigal Beshen, close to the southern entrance to the new neighborhood.

About the center…

From an architectural point of view, the center was designed to be a center of attraction for the residents of the neighborhood with maximum accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists and mothers with strollers. In order to maintain the safety of those coming and going and to separate the traffic of cars and the visitors of the center who come on foot, the underground parking floor containing about 100 parking spaces was built. These days, a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists is being built near the commercial center that will connect the Neat Afek neighborhood to the old Tzur Shalom neighborhood.

The center rises to a height of 4 floors in an area of ​​approximately 9000 square meters, where the first 2 floors are the trading floors and the top 2 floors are the office floors.

Employment and commercial spaces were designed to accommodate diverse uses

So far, the lease agreements have been signed with the 3 health funds: Klalit, Maccabi and Laomit, with the AM-PM supermarket, Superfarm, the Icon gym from Holmes Place, Hamania, La Gofra, Idan 2000, Cafe Nina and more. Later, more cafes, restaurants, bakeries and businesses will open in the center. The offices on the upper floors were advertised for sale.

The roof of the building will also be functional and will be used for gymboree and active activity under the sky, open-air cafes and other uses. Therefore, the elevators were designed to reach the roof of the building to confirm accessibility for those with special needs.

The developer of the new commercial center is the company "Sela Binui" and the architect of the project is Guy Arbel of the company "Oran M.A.Z. Architects Ltd."
