Haifa port workers contribute to the community on Hanukkah

Haifa port workers mobilized during Hanukkah for a variety of initiatives for the benefit of the community. The employees volunteered in Hanukkah activities for residents evacuated from the north who are spread out in 13 hotels in Haifa.

Haifa Port volunteers in cooperation with the Haifa Chabad House volunteered in a variety of activities:

• Light Hanukkah candles.
• Donuts and packages of sweets were given to the children who were also treated to a spectacular Hanukkah show.
• They produced a Hanukkah event for the children of Kibbutz Gebraam who were evacuated to Kibbutz Givat Haim Ihud. The event included inflatables, board games, creative workshops, food and drink stands and more.
• Haifa port workers helped set up, operate the stands and hosted about 130 evacuee children.
