The "Dania Sibus" company, which won the tender for the construction of four new bridges that will connect the Naot Afek neighborhood and the old Bialik, has moved to the stage of establishing the bridges. The works are taking place simultaneously on all the bridges.
A bridge between Naut Afek and Tzur Shalom
The northernmost bridge will connect the Neot Afek neighborhood in the area of Nachum Hayman Street to Jabotinsky Street in Tzur Shalom. This bridge is intended for vehicles only and will be one of the main entrances to the neighborhood. The width of the bridge will allow the establishment of two traffic lanes in each direction. The new bridge will connect to Route 10, the new road under construction. This road will continue Hatchel Street to the north parallel to road 22.
A bridge for pedestrians and cyclists
Another bridge will be the bridge for pedestrians and cyclists and it will connect the Naot Afek neighborhood from Yigal Street in Shen to Tzur Shalom. The bridge will pass over roads 22 and 10 and end in a snail shape on the side of the Tzur Shalom neighborhood.
Two more bridges on the sides of the hill bridge
Two more bridges will be built on both sides of the existing bridge - Gesher Hetel, connecting Hetel Street from Shofar Square to the entrance to the Neot Afek neighborhood.
The southern bridge will be designated for vehicle traffic that will enter the Naot Afek neighborhood and will have two traffic lanes. The existing hill bridge will be used by vehicles leaving the Naot Pak neighborhood and it will even have two traffic lanes. The bridge that will be built north of the existing hill bridge will be used by pedestrians and cyclists, thereby separating the traffic of pedestrians and cyclists from the traffic of motorized vehicles in order to increase safety.
More than NIS 100 million is invested in the project
The bridge construction project is managed by the Kiryat Bialik Economic Company and together with the construction of Highway 10, the cost of the project is estimated at over NIS 100 million. The work is expected to be completed in December 2026.
Mayor Eli Dukorski:
After the completion of the bridge construction project, the Naot Afek neighborhood will be the most accessible neighborhood in terms of transportation. The neighborhood will be connected to Tzur Shalom, to the Afek neighborhood, to the industrial area, to highway 4 and highway 22 bypassing the Kiryat.
With all these roads, everyone's quality of life is destroyed. I hope they will at least take care of noise insulation...
The main thing is that they don't build 3 new neighborhoods in Bialik and everything is under the auspices of Mayor Dukorski.
You write:
"It will be used by the vehicles leaving the Naot Pak neighborhood"
I wonder what they do there in the neighborhood?
See an example of the entrance from south to north in Givat Alonim in Kiryat Ata.
Would have saved us all the unnecessary round..
Ganisa from south to north on road 22 straight to Givat Harkafot..
And what about the construction of the Bialik neighborhood on the park.
Why was she arrested?
And what about the neighborhood that is supposed to build Bialik on the park.
Why is it still cubic?
All day they are only investing in Afka constructions instead of the old Bialik and the Givat Harkafot neighborhood... NIS 10 million for more bridges that lead to the same place instead of adding more exits to the bypass from the center of Bialik... The Sabinia neighborhood, the central neighborhood, should go to Bialik South or go to Kiryon instead of going straight out of the neighborhood... Probably not All are equal in Bialik
Alex, maybe just leave our quiet neighbor alone and move to Naot Afek and you'll have a name full of escape
True.. there was an election promise. That the issue of an additional access road from Givat Harkafo be dealt with and to this day it has not been done
Response to the article published in the news corporation. Hello Mr. Mayor, what about Givat Harkafot, this neighborhood of over 2000 homes that is connected to the Sderot Rabin bridge, in the 2nd Galilee peace war, the hill was bombed, God forbid if the bridge is bombed and 2000 detached homes are destroyed. Please note that it is highly recommended to take care of the hill
Only Givat Harkapet remains with one entrance and exit on a bridge!!!
We need an escape route!
