Yesterday (Wednesday, November 8.11.23, XNUMX) a huge event was held for families of evacuees staying in hotels throughout the city of Haifa, initiated by the Municipal Sports Authority, the Municipal Sports Center - "Gali Haifa", the "Economic Society for Haifa", Etgar College and the Israel Football Coaches Association.

The event that took place, on the lawns of the urban sports center, "Gali Haifa" included open-air game stations, which were operated by professional coaches, and at the same time the children and families enjoyed treats and free refreshments, shirts, and scarves of the Israeli national team and other gifts.

Afterwards, there was an open exhibition game between former players from Maccabi and Hapoel Haifa. As soon as the war started, we mobilized in the "Economic Society" to help as much as possible the families evacuated from the south and the north. We are happy for the opportunity to host this special event with the participation of Maccabi veterans and Hapoel Haifa, the smiles we saw yesterday of the children and families, expand our hearts and allow the children who need it so much, a warm hug and a few moments of sanity in this impossible reality.
