Following a shortage of working hands, which causes great losses for farmers and damage to the produce of blue and white fruits, the students of the Amit Haifa Studio decided to lend a shoulder to farmers who are in crisis.
The students help the farmers
Thus, two groups of about 50 female students each went out this week to help farmers in Moshav Ahitov and farmers from Beit Eliezer. The students worked in cherry tomato greenhouses, weeded the weeds around the branches and participated in the picking of pomelos at Beit Eliezer.
Little Zada, an 11th grade student shared:
When I saw that they really needed our help, volunteering became much more meaningful for me, it felt really good to give of myself to those who really need it and at this time especially it was even more fulfilling.
Avital Peleg, director of Amit Studio Haifa:
Proud of our students who are in the last month wherever they are needed!
They help in every possible field - to evacuees, to the families of the conscripts, to soldiers and now also to agriculture. In this powerful hour, they are being mobilized in order to value and give.
All the best to the girls of Olpanat Amit, it's just a shame that the girls from Olpanat Tzvia who were together with them voluntarily are also not mentioned...
Not on our girls
Correction, proud of the students
The students of Haifa are proud. good morning and good week everyone.
Well done.
Maybe the other schools will go crazy for the effort?…
Well done for the initiative and the act!! According to Israel Hai!
I hope that the thousands of students from the universities and the Technion will also lend a shoulder.
Champion girls!!! All the best to Amit Haifa
Well done girls, proud of you, I hope that all the schools in Haifa and in the country will pick up the gloves and come out to save our agriculture. that we don't have to import.
Well done, Amit Studio and the educational team
Thousands of lecturers and faculty members on campuses are not recruited. Sitting in cafes right now.
Why not recruit them into the force to help farmers? As an auxiliary force in helping the evacuees?
They have been doing nothing for a month and a large part of them are not contributing anything either.
