The founder of "The Pioneer", Omer Livnat: "We are happy to help and contribute, even in these difficult times."
The "Pioneer - Education Through Sports" organization tries to help in a unique way
Thousands of people lost their homes or cannot return to them following the war, including hundreds of children who, apart from the atrocities they saw and experienced, are now trying to recover and start over.
The "Pioneer - Education Through Sports" organization is trying to help with this in a unique way, and in the challenging time that the State of Israel is passing through, it is helping and supporting children in its own way: starting last week, the organization organized an array of prevention activities and trainings in several locations throughout the country, including in Haifa, with the main emphasis being on Instilling values, the social aspect, connecting to the community and also building the community around sports.
Various content and activities throughout the day
In the last activity, the children of the evacuees of Kiryat Shmona and the settlements near it, who are staying these days in the north of the country, participated. Coaches from the Halutz organization, who specialize in various sports, came to work with the children and added different content and activities to their routine throughout the day.
Ron Yochtman, one of the pioneer centers, explains:
The pioneer like the pioneer works under the same goal: education through sports. Even in such a complex time, we want to do good for the children of the south, some of whom were displaced from their homes and went through difficult experiences. The smile on the children's faces in every activity is worth everything.
The founder of Halutz, Omer Livnat, added:
Even in times of crisis, the striker made it his goal to be there for the children, hug them and hear what's on their hearts. In addition, we are happy to provide them with different and varied activities, even on these difficult days, in order to create some routine and so that they can exercise and expend energy wherever they are.
This is part of the activities of the Dror Israel movement, which does many things for society during this period. I would like to thank the Hapoel Center and the Azrieli Foundation for helping us carry out this very important and useful activity.
This is part of the activities of the Dror Israel movement. Good night everyone
