Today, Tuesday 17/10/23, following ongoing situation assessments with the Home Front Command and all security forces, and under the direction of the mayor, a decision was made to gradually return to studies in the Carmel Castle education system.
Back to face-to-face learning - on Thursday 19/10/23
In the first phase, on Thursday 19/10/23, face-to-face studies will resume in special education settings only. The studies in the aforementioned frameworks will take place in accordance with the directives of the Home Front Command and the protection considerations during an emergency.
In the rest of the educational institutions in the city, distance learning will continue at this stage, while the authority prepares to renew them as much as possible.
Mayor, Aryeh Tal:
I see great importance in the return of my children and special education students to frontal settings, precisely in this challenging and complex period. The special education teams will accompany the children with sensitivity and emphasis on the emotional and social aspect, and this is of course good news for parents who have been dealing with a particularly complex situation since the outbreak of the war.
I hope that we will soon resume studies in the entire education system in the city.

All the best to my friends Arie Tal, Mayor of Carmel Castle.
