Residents of Ramat Vizhnitz mobilize to help during the war

In the last ten days, since the war of the iron swords broke out, the residents of the State of Israel mobilized to provide the soldiers and residents of the south and the north with everything they lacked. Residents collected money, cooked hot food for the soldiers, collected clothes, toys and everything that those who lost their homes need, completed equipment for the soldiers, donated blood, hosted residents who had to leave their homes, cleaned shelters and much more. If in the last months before the war broke out there was a split in the people, the war broke out and all the disputes were left behind.

One of the communities, which works to help the families of the wounded, is the Ramat Vizhnitz community.

The CEO of the "Bria and Shalom" association, Mr. Moshe Shlomo Weisblum, describes the big fundraising day that the association did yesterday (Sunday, 15/10/23):

"We did a big blood donation project. The blood donation was in Ramat Vizinets in the school shelters in cooperation with MDA. We conclude the blood donation day with great success. The blood donation started at 12:00 and was planned to be until 20:00. Finally, at 18:15 we closed the donation complexes after passing the goal of hundreds of portions.

The blood portions were donated by residents of the Ramat Vizhnitz neighborhood and Haifa residents from all sectors, here is the place to thank all those who came and donated, and to those who came and were unable to donate, we apologize and hope to do another donation soon if necessary. Dozens of the general public came to donate blood. You can see that in a time of war, we all act as one man. Among the people who came to the operation, the director of the Haifa Blood Bank Haim Man, who was very impressed, and Yaakov Borovsky, who was very moved by the donors and encouraged the donors."

Healthy and Healthy Association

Beriah and Shalom Association is an association of the community, which deals with everything related to charity.
"Beyond donating blood, we do a variety of activities: we participate in the funerals of the dead, make the wounded happy in hospitals, distribute food to the families of the wounded in the hospitals and the bereaved families.

The Healthy and Whole Association is engaged in daily distribution of food to the families of hospitalized patients, those who know how to play music go to special education institutions in the community, at Sukkot we held all kinds of events. We mainly deal with activities related to medical events. Another activity of ours is to mobilize if there is a lack of quorum in funeral homes.

We continue with the activities in hospitals: until the first organization of the relatives of the wounded, we bring food to the families. We have female volunteers who cook, and we bring the hot food to the hospital and distribute it to the families of the wounded."
