The late Shani Kuperverser, 28 years old, was murdered at the nature party near Ra'im on Shabbat a week ago (07/10/23). Shani's parents waited for many days to know what had become of their daughter, and in the end received the most terrible news of all. Shani's funeral It was two days ago, Friday at noon (13/10/2023).

CEO of Leo Buck, Rabbi Ofek Meir, shared the words of Shani's educator, Doron Fesler:
Shani came to us at the Dvorkin camp, a smiling girl full of joy of life. Shani joined the class where three girls who were named Shani studied. Soon she was nicknamed "Cooper" by her classmates and from then until today that is what her classmates call her.
Shani majored in Psychology - Sociology and was a hardworking, diligent student and very much loved by her friends and teachers. Shani graduated from Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva, with a master's degree in economics, a few days before the terrible event and was supposed to start a new job next week.

Shani was the ray of light in the department and was loved by all the members of the faculty and students. She was hardworking, talented, ambitious and full of energy and joy of life and easily overcame every difficulty and challenge - always with a smile.

Shani worked for us for 3 years. She started as a waitress and moved on to become a manager. A super intelligent girl, very warm, smiling, hardworking, top quality girl, there are no such things. She was one that everyone loved. We met clients at the funeral who wanted to pay their last respects to her. Such a girl who enters the heart very easily.
She continued to be a customer, even when she moved to Be'er Sheva and no longer worked for us. She is still a friend of the employees who worked with her. We are really saddened by her passing. It is something unimaginable, a person goes to a party to be happy and dance and finds a cruel death.
