The Israel Police have completed their preparations for the football match between Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Netanya in the Super League, which will take place today (Sunday, 20.0425) at 20:15 PM at the "Sammy Ofer" Stadium in Haifa.
The game starts at 20:15 and the gates open at 18:00
Starting at 18:00 PM, the stadium gates will open to the fans. Due to the expected screening at the entrance gates, fans are advised to arrive at the stadium early before the start of the game.
Here are some important highlights of the game:
- The police emphasize that activating and/or throwing flares during the game may lead to the immediate cessation of the game.
- It is mandatory to present an ID card - ID card/driver's license/passport at the stadium entrance gates. It will be possible to present a photocopy of the ID card on a cell phone.
- Inspection – At the entrance to the stadium, a stricter inspection than usual will be carried out, which, if necessary, will include an inspection in inspection tents and mirroring systems, and the security cameras at the entrance gates to the stadium will also be reinforced.
- There is a prohibition on bringing in items of clothing to cover the face – ski masks, etc. – in accordance with Israel Police guidelines and the Sports Law. A fan who arrives with this prohibited item will be subject to a fine of 500 NIS and will be banned from football games for 30 days.
Highlights and instructions for the fans:
- In any emergency, the instructions of the police and security personnel must be obeyed.
- It is strictly forbidden to operate drones during the game.
• No alcohol will be allowed into the venue, and fans under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to enter. - No weapons will be allowed inside the stadium.
- There is a complete prohibition on bringing in flares and other pyrotechnic devices - these are dangerous devices and enforcement will be carried out on this matter. Any fan caught with flares or any other pyrotechnic equipment will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of the Sports Law.
- The introduction of cheering equipment is subject to police approval only.
- Passing the crowd between gates and disobeying the instructions of the ushers or the policemen stationed there - constitutes an offense against the law and will be dealt with accordingly.
- It is recommended to use alternative routes due to the expected traffic congestion on the roads leading to the stadium and those who do not have a parking permit or are residents of the Neot Peres neighborhood should not enter the vicinity of the stadium.
Public Transport
In addition, a condensed public transportation system (Line 1) will be established from the center of the Kiryat/Heart of the Bay/Carmel Beach that will receive priority on the traffic routes and priority at the traffic lights when arriving at the game.
