The candidate for mayor of Haifa, retired superintendent Yaakov Borovsky previously served in a series of senior command positions in the police, including: commander of the northern district, head of the planning department, deputy head of the operations department, commander of the valleys region, commander of the Haifa station, commander of the Zebulon station and more. Forum "Bringing security back to Haifa!" will include former senior officers in the police and its purpose is to formulate methods of action to increase the personal security of the city's residents and business owners, an uncompromising fight against the cases of murder, violence and crimes in the various areas of the city through increasing police patrols and community policing on the city's streets and in the recreation areas on the weekends, to stop the phenomenon of car racing in the city during late at night, to fight the phenomenon of groups of alms at the various intersections throughout the city, which endangers the public of drivers and may cause traffic accidents, and of course, fighting the nuisance of wild pigs and more.
