The Haifa City Council pensioners' lobby, headed by Israel Savion, works to promote the status of all Haifa's veteran citizens and their integration into the social and economic fabric in all areas of life in the city.
The lobby will work to increase its power in the city council, by mobilizing the entire electorate to support its actions, to realize its goals and objectives for the welfare of the citizens. The lobby will increase its public influence through representation in the city council and the municipal committees and will work to realize and implement the initiative of the pensioners' lobby in the city council to establish an authority for senior citizens.
A (very partial) list of the lobby's achievements:
- Free parking for all ages 70 and above in all jurisdictions of the city of Haifa
- Increasing the budget of Milav clubs by millions of shekels
- Establishment of an authority for senior citizens and budgeting of NIS 500,000
- Improving personal safety in the public space, improving sidewalks, removing obstacles, adding benches and shade sheds and partnering in the fight to eliminate the nuisance of pigs

The priority is personal security for the old residents
The issue of the personal safety of the old city residents in the public space is at the top of the list of priorities of the pensioners' lobby.
