The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the employers reached an understanding with the teachers' organization regarding the complete cancellation of all the sanctions taken by the teachers' organization, including the giving of certificates and grades, extracurricular activities and trips to Poland.
As part of the understandings, a collective agreement was signed that regulates the receipt of an advance payment at the expense of the first payment that is expected to be paid as part of the new salary agreement, and this for 3 months in advance. Also, the agreement regulates the vacation schedule in the current school year. The parties will continue to negotiate the drafting of the new salary agreement in accordance with the understandings they reached before the start of the school year.

- Advance payment of the salary for the month of September to teaching staff in the upper divisions in the amount of 2,400 NIS for a full-time teaching staff employed under the terms of the 'Oz for compensation' reform and 1,500 NIS for a full-time teaching staff employed not under the terms of the 'Oz for compensation' reform. This advance will be deducted in accordance with the collective agreement to be signed .
- The vacation schedule for the Tashfa school year in the upper divisions in the Jewish sector will be changed so that on the days between Yom Kippur and Sukkot there will be no studies, while on the days of Isro-Hag Passover, Isro-Hag Shavuot and the Fast of Esther, studies will be held. The parties will continue to discuss the adjustment of the vacation schedule from the year of Tashfa onward As part of the collective agreement to be signed.
- A one-time amount of NIS 50 million will be transferred to the welfare fund of the teachers' organization for the benefit of all teaching staff in the upper divisions. This amount is part of the financial framework reached by the parties as part of the understandings.
- The teachers' organization will cancel all the sanctions it took and instruct its teachers to hand out the certificates for the 2018 school year, to participate in extracurricular activities, and will also allow the Ministry of Education to use the annual grades reported in the previous school year.
- The teachers' organization commits to industrial peace for three months until 1.12.2023 for the purpose of working and signing the new wage agreement in accordance with the understandings reached by the parties on 31.8.2023.
