A light of hope and compassion lights up: the boarding house for brave children of the Lev Chash association in Haifa

Great joy and excitement for another significant landmark in Lev Chash Association, which has been operating in Haifa and the North for 26 years in a wide variety of activities for underprivileged families and sick children and their family members.

A light of hope and compassion

As part of the final preparations before the opening of the doors of the hotel for brave children of the Lev Chas Association, a particularly exciting event was held this week (Sunday 27/8/23) in the presence of the founders of the association, members of the public administration, volunteers, the director of the Haifa and the North district Mr. Eitan Sharabi and the guest of honor Mr. Meir Spiegler, CEO of the electricity company, who came in person to oversee the completion of the company's work and had the privilege of raising the main counter, turning on the light in the hotel and illuminating the place with the lights of compassionate hope and prayer.

Long Journey

The journey was long and complex, a journey that lasted almost six years, and now you can already see the light at the end of the tunnel. The hotel will serve as a warm and welcoming home for sick children from all over the north, who are treated in the oncology department at Rambam and who have to go through difficult and exhausting journeys, every day, in order to receive life-saving treatments.

Gather strength

The Lev Hash Association walked hand in hand with David Fatal from the Fatal Hotel chain, the National Insurance Funds, the New York and Los Angeles Federation, the Almond Tree Company and many other private donors who contributed to the construction of the project. It is important to note that the hotel is the first of its kind in the north, and includes 15 rooms Large and luxurious accommodations at a five-star level, activity and exercise rooms, a dining room, a learning center and even a center for complementary treatments. In this way, the Lev Hash Association also provides a holistic response to children with cancer and other long-term illnesses and their families. In the inn, the families will be able to gather strength and make the process easier (the inn is located a 3-minute walk from the Rambam Hospital).
