(haipo) - Soldiers and detectives of the Border Guard located dozens of items of agricultural equipment that were stolen from Geva Carmel and other settlements, with an estimated value of tens of thousands of shekels. A suspect in their possession was arrested.

An investigation that was conducted in the central unit of the Coast Guard, regarding thefts of water clocks and other equipment from agricultural lands in Givat Carmel, Pardes Hana and Givat Ada, with an estimated value of tens of thousands of shekels, led to intelligence, following which soldiers and detectives went into action last night (Sun. 27/8/23) MGB, together with IDF soldiers in the village of Bartaea in the territories of Judea and Samaria.
As part of the activity, the forces searched the compound in Bartaea, during which they found 38 water clock houses, 24 meters and a DVR.
The suspect, the owner of the place, a resident of Rata at the age of 45, along with the findings, was detained for questioning at the central unit of the Coast Guard.
The soldiers of the border guard will continue their persistent activity using advanced technological and intelligence measures to protect the security and property of the farmers.
