Minister Amichai Shikli met with the heads of Arab and Druze authorities in the cluster of Gulf authorities, in a process led by the chairman of the cluster, the mayor of Kiryat Yam, David Ibn Zur.
Minister Shikli, at the request of the chairman of the Gulf cluster, David Ibn Zur, will meet with the heads of the Arab and Druze authorities in the Haifa Bay area, with the aim of examining how to help and implement the government's decision 550 in the best and fastest way for the Arab society.

As mentioned, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Diaspora and Social Equality - Amichai Shikli, the Eshkol chairman and the mayor of Kiryat Yam - David Ibn Zur, the Eshkol director general of the Gulf authorities - Aharon Azoulai and representatives from the Eshkol authorities, among them Tamra, Eablin, Shafaram, Basmat Tivon, Kavol, Bir al Maksur, Dalit al Carmel Carmel and Usafia.

At the meeting, the heads of the councils asked for assistance in implementing the government plan, in promoting and supervising the transfer of budgets and taking significant steps that will reduce violence in the sector, under the umbrella of the Gulf authorities cluster, which will allow for professional, rapid advancement that is compatible with the needs and requirements of the Gulf region vis-à-vis the government authorities.

Minister Shikli said during the meeting:
"I am a big believer in this way of building a cluster of local authorities, which encourages cooperation and strengthens the economic and social resilience of the authorities, which will lead to increased governance and improved service to the resident."

David Ibn Tzur, chairman of the authorities and mayor of Kiryat Yam:
"I want to thank the minister for listening, understanding and deciding to help as much as possible to promote the government's decision. This is a meeting that dealt with the cluster of regional and mutual Gulf authorities that exist among all the residents in our region. All of us together must work for our neighbors and ensure security, growth and prosperity that will make the entire region flourish. The aim of the cluster is to include and bridge the government ministries and ministers to the various councils and enable rapid and correct promotion for the entire region.'
