The Sports Betting Settlement Council (Hatoto) held an event last night (Sunday 6/7/23) to mark "celebrations of 75 years of love for Israeli sports". As part of the event, the 75 favorite athletes in the history of the State of Israel were announced. In a project in which the Walla site, Sport 1 and Marib are partners.

The athletes were chosen by a broad vote of sports enthusiasts among the Israeli public as well as by a special and independent committee that examined their contribution to sports over the years, all with the aim of awarding the title to the most suitable sportsmen and women.

The event was attended by the chairman of the Toto, Shabtai Tzur, the CEO of the Toto, Meir Bardugo, senior officials of the Israeli sports world and, of course, the winning athletes. Among the Haifa athletes who won are Reuven Atar, Zahi Armali and the late Avi Ran.
