A significant part of Bono's body was burned and peeled off, his chest, front legs, mouth and one eye that turned white. He was treated with a medical wash, antibiotics and ointments for the burns. He He is currently hospitalized, to assess the extent of the damage caused to him and to check further if there are also internal injuries.
