The Brotherhood of Travelers saved the vacation abroad
The two young men, Amir and Mahmoud, who were on their way to a flight for a vacation abroad, forgot a bag at the train station in Bat Galim containing tens of thousands of shekels, plane tickets, and passports; the passenger Aden Ben Shatrit, who was staying at the station platform, located the lost item, kept it, and helped the train employees to return it to its owner quickly and save the vacation of the friends.
This trip will not be forgotten by the three young men from Haifa - the friends Amir and Mahmoud, and the passenger Eden Ben Shatrit, for a long time.
Losses on the way to summer vacation
Nearly 300 trips are made every day on the Israel Railways during the summer months, many of them on the way to the recreation centers and the airport, on the way to the summer vacations. Naturally, hundreds of losses are recorded every day in the summer, and the dedicated Israel Railways employees make an effort to answer them quickly, often with the help of responsible and kind-hearted passengers like Aden Ben Shatrit, especially when it comes to losses forgotten on the train on the way to a flight abroad.
The bag was left at the Bat Galim train station
This morning (Wednesday 5/7/23) the two young men, Amir and Mahmoud, boarded a train from Haifa Bat Galim station to Netavg station, on their way to a vacation abroad that they had planned for a long time. But their bag containing all the money for the vacation, tens of thousands of shekels, plane tickets, passports and more, was forgotten on the station platform and did not get on the train with them.

A few seconds later, Eden Ben Shetrit, a resident of Haifa who was on her way to study in Tel Aviv, arrived at the platform. Eden saw the bag, and after making sure that it was not a suspicious object, she discovered the valuable contents found in it, and immediately began trying to locate the owners of the bag using the identifying details that were in it. In addition, Eden called a member of her family, the manager of the Atlit train station, who immediately contacted the inspector of the train the young men boarded, Assaf Itzhaki, who located them and informed them that the missing person had been found.

The flight is in a few hours
In order for the friends not to miss their flight, Aden volunteered to keep the bag and personally bring it to the loss department at the Tel Aviv Savidor Merkaz station, where she met with Itzik Shitrit, director of the loss department at the Israel Railways, and with the two friends who collected the bag and continued their journey to Natev. third.
"As soon as I saw the tickets for the flight that was scheduled for a few more hours, I immediately understood the importance of locating the missing husband quickly," said Eden Ben Shatrit, "I am happy that I was able to do a mitzvah and help the two friends in finding the missing person, and I wish them a pleasant flight and a safe vacation."
"We were moved to see the care and dedication of Aden who made sure to return the loss to the passengers she does not know," they say in the loss department of Israel Railways, "acts like Aden's act fill our hearts, and we will give her a certificate of appreciation for her actions in the coming days."
The worst nightmare is arriving on a flight without a passport and without money, kudos to her resourcefulness
I would do it anyway!!! A mitzvah and a very good feeling
I wonder if both guys would do the same thing...
Something to think about
Definately not..
The priceless mistake
Do not spoil Eden with the compliments it receives from Arabs and Jews alike, continue to live in the dark, and do not spread the evil of racism and arrogance, until we receive a happy article. A piece of wood
How exactly did she make sure it wasn't a suspicious object?
Anyway, well done!
How beautiful!
Yes, good citizens like Eden will multiply. But where are the thanks of the two that was restored? By the way, just a question: why did they need tens of thousands of shekels in the bag for this trip?
"After making sure it's not a suspicious object"
How exactly did she make sure of that?!
Acting against the procedures should have been reported immediately and the public removed from the platform
Queen you are!!! 💕 They will multiply like you
To the guy who wrote that "only with Jews does this happen": I actually heard that in 2011, in Bulgaria, a Catholic girl found a bag at the bus station (not far from the church) and returned it to its Jewish owner. But this is a rare case. In most cases this only happens to the Jews who are the chosen racist people.
Israel Railways should give her a year of free travel
There are good Jews, good Muslims and good Christians
They could live together in peace and harmony
And everything breaks down because
Bad Jews, bad Muslims and bad Christians.
Too bad.
Listen... I don't want to exaggerate, but you're probably one in a million. Not everyone would return a large amount of money. Blackmail for honesty
Honest righteous girl
All the best with Israel, he won
Hope she was thanked properly!
An angel from heaven 👏👏👏
Although I am not a party to the matter, I chose to comment on this article.
Great Eden. I salute you personally. thank you very very much
God willing, angels will multiply like the honest and caring finder. Well done.
Kudos to Eden. But there is no such thing - make sure for yourself that it is not a suspicious object... every object is in the possession of a suspect, the owners have not yet been found. Here it was a plane ticket, but it would be just as hard to find a bomb inside...a suspicious object should urgently notify the station manager, and not argue with the cousin who runs another station..
A mitzvot woman will be blessed with health and a calm life, you are a model for rare people
There is hope there are more honest people in the country.
Good luck, girl, in these troubled days, you have overcome all the instincts that are in the human race and you have simply proved that there are still people with a conscience and a huge generosity of heart that the Creator of the world will give you everything you desire, amen
Eden! you are an angel! Good for you! You managed to save a vacation for the company and make them believe in good souls like you! May you have lots of health, good livelihood, love and easy and interesting studies! ♡ God. Please more people like this and we will save our world! 🙂
Good thing there are still some good people. Kudos to Eden. Cheers!
A decent and honest girl. Well done !
Eden, you are invited to our Gani Tamara restaurant for a double meal at home expense
Well done for the initiative to restore the loss, thanks for the article
There is nothing like the people of Israel!!!! This only happens to the Jews!
Paradise of righteousness! God will reward you for your good deeds. You sanctified Hashem. Everyone sees what a Jewish heart is
Only with Jews does this happen!!! Your racism screams
I actually heard that in Bulgaria, in 2011, a Catholic girl found a bag in the metro station and returned it to its owner. But this is a rare case. Usually this only happens to the Jews.

Only with Jews... what do you say... maybe because they weren't Jewish and she was... or just because you're a racist... I have news for you.. We Jews did not invent either morality or kindness....
Dear Eden, well done.
worthy of all praise.
You are a model for good and caring citizenship.
May you be successful in all your actions.
All the best and good luck in your studies
Kudos to Eden!
Yes, decent and honest people like you will multiply.
And I wouldn't expect financial compensation for my lost Shabbat. The young men must have saved every shekel for their trip and I don't think there was any room for them to set aside for this matter what should be used for them!
A thank you and a hug is enough to express appreciation and inform her of her noble act.
Bless you!!! You did a great mitzvah
Kudos to Aden for his resourcefulness and desire to help without getting anything in return, and to return a loss to its owner. it's not taken for granted. As they wrote before Eden, an angel with a noble soul, and may there be many like her. If I were them, I would give Aden a monetary gift. She deserves it even though she didn't ask for it. Maybe Hai Pa will open a website for good deeds, which he will publish whenever he learns about them, this makes people who read about the good deeds learn from them, and maybe want to be like them, doers of good deeds and kindness.
I admire people like you
Good-hearted humanity
Conscience and honesty
Thanks for the message
and joy in the heart
for the friends
the taste of freedom
will increase a thousandfold
for them.
In life, sometimes you meet "angels" who received a good education in their parents' home. To the two guys, take a good look at where your head is. It should be with you on vacation. Good time. . A wonderful story. Thanks.
Paradise
Happens... everyone has a small bag a small bag🤣
Well done. What a great mitzvah is a lost Shabbat.
