Baruch Katz (age 77), started working at Superbus after he retired. Since he started working at Superbus for three and a half years he has worked as an auditor and for the last 4 years he has been working in service positions.
Katz came to Superbus after a long career at the Emek Hospital. He is a resident of Afula, and every day he finds himself in a different area. No matter what service position he finds himself in, Katz has made it his goal to return every loss that Superbus has to its owner, and he has been doing it for 4 years.

Superbus is a public transport company, which owns hundreds of buses. It operates city and intercity lines as well as shuttles for students. In addition, Superbus also operates the Haifa Matron lines.
I am making a special effort, so that the lost will return to its owner
"Losts come to us from the matron," says Katz, "phones, wallets and all kinds of things that people forget on buses. We have a hotline for losses. Many times there is a disconnect between the owner of the lost and the lost.
There are cases when the owner of the loss does not know that it is with us and therefore he does not know that he must turn to us in order to receive what he lost. The lost items are usually placed in a special drawer and wait for the person who lost them.
I am making efforts beyond the usual to locate the owner of the loss. I think when you lose something, it's very important to rediscover the loss."
I wrote an email to a bank abroad and managed to return a wallet to its owner
"One day I was at the Bay center and the losses of the matron in Kiryat arrived.
I saw a very nice wallet there and inside were two non-Israeli credit cards, issued by a bank in Czechoslovakia. I was not able to locate the owner of the wallet in Israel, neither 144 nor Facebook. The credit card had an email from the bank in Czechoslovakia. I wrote them an email, introducing myself as a Superboss employee. The next day I worked at a position in Beit Shan, and all day I waited to see if I would receive an email back. I asked them to contact the ticket holder. When I was about to close the position at 18:00 the ticket holder called me. It turns out that the bank abroad contacted her husband and he informed her. She came to my house to get the wallet back."
I called the boutique, which was near the house of the person who lost the wallet, and reached the owner of the wallet
"I was in Tiberias at a service station and I found a wallet with NIS 400 there," Katz describes another case, "after checking I found out that the wallet belonged to a resident of Beer Sheva. In the wallet was his address. I checked on Google what was close to his residential address, and I found out that there is a boutique near his house. I called the same boutique and luckily they knew him there. After two weeks I met the owner of the wallet in Afula and handed him the wallet."
"In another case, a young Afula resident who was staying with his parents in a community settlement in the north lost a wallet. I located the mother. I was able to do it because the wallet was there, and through it I found the mother who lived in the same community settlement. When I called the mother, it turned out that the young man did not even know that the wallet was lost. The mother came with him to Afula on Saturday night to take the wallet."
When a person loses even the smallest thing, he is heartbroken
"I attach great importance to losses, which is why I try so hard to find the person who lost something, and then make every effort to return the lost item to its owner. This gives me a lot of satisfaction. I think that when a person loses even a small thing like a pen, it makes him That's why it's so important to me to return losses. I must advise the audience to attach a note with a phone number to every wallet, bag or suitcase to save heartache."
