On Thursday 08.06.26/3/XNUMX, the ceremony of awarding the Sti'lan pins took place at the Haifa Navy base led by the commander of the XNUMXrd Fleet, Lt. Col. Erez Ben Zion, the commanders of the fleet and the families of the fighters.
Sheitat 3 operates in a very vital space - the maritime environment, where the amount of opportunities as well as the challenges are many. Its fighters sail and carry out daring operations far from the shores and borders of the State of Israel.
From the words of the commander of the 3rd squadron, Col. Erez Ben Zion:
The real strength of the fleet is the people, our fighters, everything depends on you. This very status of passing a stage in your knowledge and experience, the warriors who officially wear the missile ship navigation pin, strengthens us in the face of the future. The operational activity carried out by the fleet is significant and groundbreaking. Not for nothing, twice in the past year and a half, the Sheitat was awarded an operational appreciation badge on behalf of the Chief of Staff and the Sheitat was chosen as one of the ten outstanding units in the IDF for 2022.
Among the recipients of the pins, Corporal Amir Halavi, 20 years old from Dalit Al Carmel, was chosen as the outstanding 36th Squadron, the 6th Saari Squadron of the missile ship fleet.
Amir came to serve in the Navy after hearing recommendations for the role of naval warrior. As a child he studied at the school for naval officers in Acre, where he was trained in marine engineering.
After that, Amir successfully went through the formation of the naval warrior and upon completion of challenging training at the Zrue Hayam B.D., he arrived at the significant service in the 3rd Fleet.
Today Amir serves as a SHOB technician (control and control) on the Achi Oz ship and plays a significant role on the ship, with a long and critical road ahead of him for the development of the sea arm and Israel's security.
Well done to you Amir. Good luck in the Navy under the command of the Commander of the Navy Major General David Selma, my good friend. good week
