Meta, the company that owns the WhatsApp application, introduced a significant improvement in the WhatsApp instant messaging program: until today, if you needed to change a message you sent, you would write another message with a correction and sometimes delete the message you sent and write it again.
From today you can edit the message for about 15 minutes from the time of launch.
The recipients and the sender will see that the message has been edited, but the recipients will not receive the chat in the "unread message" state and will not receive a burst notification about the edit (at this stage of the upgrade).
It is important to note that you must be on the most updated version of WhatsApp to receive the upgrade.
WhatsApp WEB in the browser version has already received the upgrade. The desktop version (the application for Windows 10 has not yet received the upgrade in the Microsoft store, as of the day the article was published)
This is how it works - editing a WhatsApp message
On Android, click on the 3 dots button that appears in the upper left corner of the screen.

On iOS (iPhone) long press on the message you sent.
After clicking, you get the next screen with the word "Edit".

In WhatsApp WEB, the word EDIT will sometimes appear in English, because the application has not yet been fully translated.

After clicking on the "edit" command, the text screen will open where you can edit the message you sent.
After you have re-edited the text - click on resend (the blue arrow on the right or the green arrow on the left - it varies depending on the device...)

After sending the edited message, both the sending party and the receiving party will see the word "edited" next to the content.

You can also copy and paste the sent message and then paste it again to the recipient's clipboard and correct what you want to correct in the text and send. Then delete the previous one that was sent by pressing continuously and "delete for everyone".
The advantage of this method is that it is not limited to 15 minutes, but to a whole day, I think.
