the church building
The church, which belongs to the Royal Greek-Catholic Church, was built in the 1940s by the bishop Georgios Hajar Under his influence, churches were built in a number of other sites on the island such as Bejish (Gush Halab), Kfar Yasif, Paki'in, Shafaram and more. The structure, built on a simple rectangular base and the sad interior are influenced by Russian ecclesiastical architecture. The roof of the church is double-arched, as the facade also testifies.
