In light of the announcement by the teachers' organization about the shutdown of classes in grades 10 and 11 on this coming Tuesday, the Ministry of Education applied to the court to issue a restraining order. The court accepted the restraining order and tomorrow classes will be held as usual.
The ministry supports the need to raise teachers' salaries and even does everything in its power to mediate and promote the negotiations, but nevertheless is committed and works to preserve the rights of students in general and regarding the matriculation exam process in particular.
The original news from Monday morning 1/5/23
(live here with the teachers' strike) - After last night the Labor Court issued a restraining order to the teachers' organization, thus canceling the warning strike that was planned for Sunday (30/4/23), the organization announced that it intends to carry out the strike tomorrow (Tuesday, 2/5/23) , as part of which there will be no classes in grades XNUMX-XNUMX in high schools all over the country.
The chairman of the teachers' organization, Ran Erez, sent a letter to the Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, in which Erez complained about the conduct of the Ministry of Finance, in that he does not carry out, according to the letter, the order of the National Labor Court, according to which the parties must enter into intensive negotiations in order to bridge on the disputes, thereby deepening the rift and preventing trust-building measures.

Erez added that in light of the temporary order issued by the labor court regarding the strike planned for last night (Sunday) and in view of the stalemate in the negotiations and the worsening of the disputes, the teachers' organization intends to suspend classes in grades 2-5 in high schools all over the country tomorrow, Tuesday 23/XNUMX/ XNUMX.
The letter from the chairman of the teachers' organization Ran Erez:

Who wants to be a teacher??? Everything is open and it's not too late...
It is clear to me that the one who despises Bern Erez is not a teacher and does not want to be a teacher - alak democracy...
A - How many years has Ran Erez been chairman without change?
Pay attention to all the people who have been in the job for 20-25 years and refuse to change and let the younger generation...
B - If he tweets about a restraining order and immediately announces another strike, will he receive condemnations in the evening for contempt of the court or that those who are true and connected with Olmert's formula "I do not accept my sentence" are allowed to insult the courts and only the right is not allowed to say anything about them. .
wonder…
