The park in Haifa looks like a dump again - filth and dirt in every corner

(Live here with Park Kishon) – Dirt again, again in Kishon Park. Despite the repeated complaints and appeals to the municipality and despite the publications in Hai Pa, it is not clear why and how, but cleaning the park, which should have been a matter of course, turns out to be a difficult task to achieve.

Even today (Tue 18/4/23) the Kishon Park is filthy. The garbage cans are bursting with garbage, and also around them piles of garbage are scattered on the grass. Lots of dirt on the seating tables, under them and in every corner. This is the look that greets you in the park today. today also.

Picked up and left

As you know, quite a bit has already been written here in the last few months about such cases, which are repeated time and time again in the beautiful park. Obviously, the people who spent time in the park, for their own enjoyment, must leave it clean when they leave. But since this is not the case, and there are uncivilized people who allow themselves to deface a public place and leave it dirty in such a horrific way, one must also ask where is the municipality, whose maintenance and cleanliness are under its responsibility? We have contacted the municipality on this issue several times in the past, and each time they claimed that they make sure to clean the park regularly every day. is that so?

One thing is certain, most of the people who come to hang out and enjoy the public park behave sensibly and culturally and maintain cleanliness, they certainly should not suffer from the condition left by irresponsible and uneducated visitors, and from deficient maintenance by those responsible for its cleanliness.

Eli Rosner, a ship owner who lives there, told Lahi Fe:
"I contacted the municipality this morning and they promised to send workers to clean. As of 12:00 noon, no one has arrived. Every time I contact the municipality they claim that they clean and maintain the park regularly and daily. I live here and I can tell you that they don't come to clean every day. The cleaning contractor comes Two or three times a week no more."

No response was given from the Haifa municipality.

  1. The people are the garbage. It shames them. You don't have to clean up after them, you have to deny them citizenship.

  2. Are there public 🚽 services there? And faucets?
This is a large part of the dirt, what is done in no toilets 🚽.

  3. Sorry to spoil the editors and the journalist - that the municipality will do nothing. The sentence is so wrong: "Most people who come to the park to eat and enjoy themselves in a cultural way" is simply outrageous. Among my people I live and see neighbors and acquaintances behave in public places. They come, they eat, they don't collect food scraps and leave everything, the main thing is that the house is clean and the park is dirty.. The municipality will already clean it. It's disgusting and it happens all the time. And the children see and receive an example.
Something rotten, and not in the kingdom of Denmark.

  4. From the movement to encourage the pigs in Haifa!
We are in favor, and especially packaging with pizzas is required…….
    A loyal citizen to live.

  5. It's strange that most of the responses point the finger
    Accusing the municipality,
And what about the people who come to celebrate Mimona?
And leave mountains of trash behind them!?
Did we say, education, culture, sensitivity?
    Not the tribe in question...

  6. It's sad to see a dirty park, because hikers have left their food scraps with most of their impudence. But why doesn't the municipality make sure to check the park early in the morning? And lie? Enough with the stories, this is part of the municipality's duties as a routine procedure, without telling stories.

  7. Hit the whole country, for years. But God forbid we call them Chachachaim. When there is no education at home, everyone pollutes the environment. And the municipality should do a very simple thing and that is to install cameras and fine hundreds of shekels. Every municipality, every council should do this.

  8. We need a mayor from the Likud to clean the house and strengthen the people of Israel alive and well

  9. This is not a municipality, this is a freedom headed by an incompetent person

  10. Animals right through the land will not harm anyone.
I was once and I was terribly disgusted, really unpleasant, the vacationers should be blamed, they are the problem.

  11. Do not expect results from an impotent municipality. After all, smaller public gardens suffer from chronic neglect since the beginning of the term. The hope that the election year would generate useful insights has also been disappointed. All we have to do is wait for October and pray...

  12. The right solution is cameras and signs for the installation of the cameras and also a reminder of the conference that should hurt the pockets.

  13. Why not install cameras and take pictures of the drivers and vehicles and send them fines!?

  14. Oh the shame that people leave behind. Dirt and damage a magical corner of nature.
Place cameras and have practical enforcement by inspectors in the park.

  15. There are several parks in Haifa, a resident should not have to guess which one not to go to

  16. What is our business that Eli Rosner from Haifa has a ship?
He anchors her on the grass near the benches in the park?

  17. Every Monday and Thursday the residents of the city of Haifa clash
With and against the mayor, after all in the suburbs of the city
There are different departments for routine maintenance and of course there are
Also heads of departments. What are these workers?
To deal with the issues of each and every one for the common good
Their salary is certainly quite a lot, maybe if fines are imposed
For failing to fulfill the task imposed on them, the parks and the environment
    Tirana is more beautiful.

  18. Not only in Kishon Park. All the public gardens in Haifa are not cleaned. The Carmel center is paved in the late days of Yahav's reign. The spaces between the tiles are filled with cigarette butts for decoration...
