(haipo) - Against the 44-year-old resident of the Kiryat, an indictment will be filed in the coming days for committing indecent acts, acts of sodomy and rape of girls who worked for him in Haifa and the Kiryat.
The police told Lai Pa:
At the end of a complex and sensitive investigation conducted by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) at the Acre Police Station in which Merhav Asher stations and investigators from the Crime Fighting Unit (ILF) participated, a prosecutor's statement was submitted this morning (Sun. 16/4/23) against a resident of Kiryat Motzkin , on suspicion of committing crimes of indecent acts, sodomy and rape of girls between the ages of 14-18, residents of the area, who worked for him selling flowers between 2017-2023.
The police began an investigation on 8/3/23 upon receiving a complaint from a resident of the Kiryat area, who identified the suspect at the Zebulon police station as the one who raped her and also committed sodomy and indecent acts on her on several occasions during the years 2020-2021, while she worked under him selling flowers in restaurants in the Haifa and Kiryat area .
As soon as the complaint was filed with the Zebulon police, the suspect, a 44-year-old resident of Kiryat Motzkin, was arrested. From gathering evidence in the case, it was suspected that the suspect had committed similar acts with other girls who worked with him.
At the request of the investigating unit, the Magistrate's Court in Acre allowed the publication of the name of the suspect, suspected of having committed the acts, in order to find additional complainants.
In the meantime, the police managed to locate a total of 9 female complainants, all between the ages of 14-18, newcomers from the Soviet Union who worked for the suspect selling flowers, when, according to the suspicion, the suspect committed serious sexual offenses with the complainants, including rape, and this while taking advantage of relationships of dependence and bitterness , supplying alcohol and drugs as well as taking advantage of the fact that these girls, who arrived in Israel alone, desperately need a livelihood in order to support themselves.
A complex and sensitive investigation was carried out by a special investigation team established for the purpose of furthering the investigation of the case, which was composed of investigators from Merhav stations and with the assistance of investigators from the Merhav's Crime Fighting Unit (ILF), in which testimonies were collected from over 20 girls who worked for the suspect, and included the suspect's transport and vote on Places where he meets the girls as well as confrontations between him and them.
The suspect's detention was extended from time to time and this morning, as mentioned, the Haifa district attorney's office filed a statement against him, and in the coming days an indictment will be filed against him and a request for his detention until the end of the proceedings.
Terrible acts. Demand his name and publish it!
If the court allowed the name of the suspect to be published, why don't you publish his name so that we can be wary of him and protect our children
It says that his name was allowed to be published...
but does not appear in the article
A terrible act. Why don't they reveal details about him? As soon as he has her name on him, they voted for him, so why don't they expose his face, the media is afraid to expose him and only encourages people like him to continue abusing.
