The technological equipment of the matron was expanded and made accessible by the Superbus company in the Haifa metropolis, for the benefit of the traveling public.
Now, when all the lines and all the matron's vehicles are equipped with several validation devices, the process of removing the old ticketing devices, which were damaged due to incessant vandalism and caused repeated inconveniences, will begin.
Starting in October 2021, when Superbus began operating the Eshkol Matroni cluster, the public of passengers using the public transportation lines in the metropolis began to become familiar with the validation devices, which are now also present in the Matroni vehicles.
As part of a long process of expanding and making technological equipment more accessible for the benefit of passengers, each line and vehicle is now equipped with a number of easily distinguishable ticketing devices.
Superbus said:
"The company's teams do their best to maintain the equipment and upgrade it every day, for the benefit of the public transport passengers who make their way to work and school and for their convenience. Now that all the lines and all the matron's vehicles are equipped with several validation devices, the removal of the old ticketing devices that were damaged due to acts of vandalism will begin.
The problem of vandalism (just like the rest of the country's problems) begins, centers and ends with one single and central issue: no governance. And the appendices are: no enforcement, a rotten attorney's office that is only concerned with itself and its internal interests, a wretched justice system that feels sorry for the cruel and cruel to the merciful.... Woe to us
Vandalism is part of the rising violence and crime in Israel and in Haifa in particular.
We must bring back the city patrol.
We need a legal reform that will bring back a law of governance and deterrent punishment.
There is destructive vandalism and it goes beyond graffiti which also desecrates and damages property
There is literally smashing of facilities, tearing of seats, vandalism of information and guidance signs
where are the police No cameras??
Well done. Shabbat Shalom.
You click on the link and it does not open, it will be the same with the devices, we will do the operation, we will not be charged, and the inspector will give a report. A state of peace...
All the best for the progress, the time has really come, but it will not solve the problem of vandalism even within the matrons. The youth of the minorities destroys everything from a ruler wherever he is found, especially in mixed areas. The matrons are active and will watch over them
