Passover symbolizes for all the people of Israel the coming out of slavery to freedom. The exodus of the immigrants from Russia and Ukraine is a kind of their "exodus from Egypt" - to freedom in the Land of Israel.

It is our duty, the old Israelis, to take in the immigrants who came from their homeland to the promised land. Here, together, we will ensure their well-being and their rapid absorption in our country, so that they will integrate into Israeli society and quickly become a contributing, high-quality and significant force that will strengthen and unite us.

This year I was appointed by MK Avigdor Lieberman to head the "Israel Home" faction in Haifa. For me, this is a great opportunity to contribute from my abilities and experience, to represent the new immigrants as well as the Israelis - the old immigrants, who believe in the strengthening of Israeli society and are interested in living their lives in a Zionist state , pluralistic and liberal, which is a warm, accepting, inclusive and embracing home for all immigrants from around the world.

I am 45 years old, married. I immigrated with my family from Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, in 1990, when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. Even when I was 14 years old, a school student, I started working in the family business in the field of food. Later, I engaged in administrative management and was also self-employed in various fields, among others in the field of medical tourism.

political activity

I have been active in the "Israel Beitno" party since its establishment. The principles of the party and its values ​​are very close to my heart. I also believe in the saying "live and let live" and that the State of Israel must be a Zionist and liberal state. I believe in the path of the chairman of the party, Avigdor Lieberman - a wise and visionary person, who has proven himself time and time again when he served in the most important positions in Israeli politics.
The good of the country is always before his eyes, he is a true and responsible leader, a politician who does not give in to pressure - a man whose word is his word.

In 2018 I ran on the "Haifa Beitno" list in the Haifa City Council elections. I was placed third on the list. Since we received 2 mandates in the city council, I did not win the previous term to represent the list in the council.

I managed the list's headquarters in the municipal elections and continued to manage it in the next Knesset elections as well. Today I serve as the coordinator of the Yisrael Beitenu party in the north.

Activity for city residents

Although I did not join the city council as a member, I acted in the interest of the city's residents. Newcomers and veterans alike. Among other things, I set up voluntary projects, I worked a lot for the community during the Corona closures, and more.

"We came to banish darkness" project

One of the projects I am particularly proud of is the project "We came to banish darkness", which aims to keep in touch with the elderly and lonely Holocaust survivors. In recent years, there have been dozens of deaths in Haifa of smelly people who died when they were alone, and their deaths were discovered only after some time due to neighbors' complaints about the smell.

The Haifa municipality was aware of the problem, but no solution was found for mapping the city's elderly. And when systems are down - our volunteers do their job.

"HaifaHelp" project

Another project that I am proud of is a project that started with the "rise of the war" wave and is called "HaifaHelp".
Together with Artyom Kharchenko, coordinator of the youth of 'Haifa Beitno' and with the help of many volunteers, we collected and sent humanitarian aid to the citizens of the home front in Ukraine, as well as to refugees and new immigrants who arrived in Haifa.
We connected immigrant families with old families and the Sabrs, who helped them acclimatize and take their first steps in Israel. We recruited wonderful volunteers, including consultants in various fields - lawyers, educators, doctors and more.

"Hebrew conversation club" project

We established the "Hebrew Conversation Club", where new immigrants can practice speaking and conversation in Hebrew and also meet new people. Most of the immigrants are still confused and feel a certain isolation and disconnection, and unfortunately, the absorption systems are not able to overcome the large number of immigrants that arrived in one year, and provide an answer for everyone. Especially in this period, when it seems that the government has other priorities, which are not at all related to the absorption of Aliyah. Here too, our wonderful volunteers take the responsibility and do the work.

A third of Haifa's residents are new and old immigrants

Haifa must more adequately represent the new and old immigrants who settled in the city and whose scope today is A third of the total population of the city. The main task in the upcoming elections will be to maintain the special liberal character of the city and allow every resident to live as he wishes. We must act according to the "live and let live" principle, strengthen the security of the city's residents, strengthen the economy, business and tourism in the city.

My dream is to make the city of Haifa the capital of the north.

I ran the pre-election headquarters in those municipal elections and in the subsequent elections to the Knesset. Today I am the coordinator of НДИ on the north of Israel

Action for the benefit of residents of the city

Despite the fact that I did not get into the city council, I worked for the benefit of the residents of the city, both repatriates and old residents. I founded several volunteer projects and helped people a lot during the pandemic and quarantine restrictions

Project «Рассеять тму»

One of the projects that I am especially proud of is «Rasseyat tmu», the purpose of which is to maintain contact with lonely elderly people, including Holocaust survivors. In recent years in Haifa, there have been dozens of cases of death of elderly people who died in complete loneliness, and they were found only some time later, for example, when neighbors began to complain about the smell

The Mayor knew about the problem, but did not find the opportunity to compile lists with the addresses of single elderly citizens. If the system doesn't work, then volunteers come to the rescue.

HaifaHelp project

Another project that I am proud of was created with the beginning of «repatriation of wartime», it is called HaifaHelp

Together with youth coordinator Artem Kharchenko and numerous volunteers, we collected and sent humanitarian aid for peaceful residents of Ukraine, as well as for refugees and new repatriates

We introduced new repatriates to families of old-timers and natives of the country, ready to help them integrate and settle in a new place. We have attracted wonderful volunteers, including consultants from different regions - lawyers, experts in the field of education, doctors, etc.

Project «Club of Conversational Hebrew»

We founded the "Speaking Hebrew Club" so that new repatriates could practice the language and make new acquaintances. Most of the repatriates are still confused, feel lonely and cut off from their familiar environment, and, unfortunately, the integration system is not able to cope with such a large number of new repatriates who arrived at one time. This is especially noticeable today, when the government seems to have other priorities, not related to the integration of new citizens. In this case, our wonderful volunteers again take on the task and perform the necessary work.

The third population of Haifa is made up of repatriates

Haifa needs a more decent representation of new repatriates and old residents who have settled in the city, whose number reaches a third of the city's population. In the upcoming elections, the main task will be to preserve the liberal, unique character of the city, where every resident could lead a lifestyle of their own choosing. We are obliged to act in accordance with the principle «live and let live», strengthen the safety of the city's residents, develop the economy, support local businesses and tourism

I dream of turning Haifa into the real capital of the north of the country
