Activists and activists from the "Gay Bloc" in Haifa last night (Thursday, 30/3/23) hung signs over Plim Street in Haifa, in front of Kiryat Yavlar, with data from the Nir Katz Center's report on the state of LGBT-phobia in Israel published by the Association for the LGBT "B in Israel.
Today, 31/03/23, the gay community celebrates the "Trans Visibility Day", which aims to raise the transgender community to the agenda. According to the report - the Haifa region is in second place (after Tel Aviv) in the number of reports of cases of violence based on gender identity, with 22% of the reported cases occurring there.

"When the government encourages and legitimizes hatred, and as senior ministers serving as the organizers of the 'Animal Parade' - it is not for nothing that we see such an increase in bophobic LGBT violence"
