(haipo) - An attempted assault and an indecent act happened last night (18/2/23) in the evening hours in the quiet Kabbir neighborhood.
Last night (Motash 18/2/23) in the evening hours, a message was published in one of Kabvir's neighborhood WhatsApp groups (and later also in the Facebook group), a warning to the residents of the neighborhood, according to which an assault and attempted rape incident was neutralized on Ra'anan Street in the neighborhood.
One of the witnesses to the incident called the police to the scene and spread the warning to the women of the neighborhood.
The message reads:
important message
Good evening dears, in the last few hours an attempted assault and rape was neutralized in the neighborhood here in Kabavir. The attacker has not yet been caught. Please be vigilant and take care of yourself"
From an investigation with the police, it was reported that this was an indecent act and that the suspect has not yet been caught.
K., a resident of the neighborhood who witnessed the attack, prevented the rape and called the police.
K told Lahi Pa:
"At 18:30 in the evening, I went down Kadima Street in the neighborhood with my nine-year-old son, and when we turned to Ra'anan Street, we saw a man who simply slapped the girl against the car, attacked her and tried to rape her while she resisted. I ran with the boy towards them and as soon as he saw us, he ran towards the synagogue. The girl was Distressed and shocked and scared. I immediately called the police and reported the incident."
I also called my husband to come pick up the child and I stayed with her until the mobile arrived. It took them at least 20 minutes to arrive. The girl said that she felt he was following her from the beginning of the fair on Kadima Street on the opposite side of the street. When he reached the turn on Ra'anan Street, he followed her down the dark stairs, she screamed, pulled him towards the street and tried to run away and ask for help. Despite the resistance, he continued with his hot, slammed her into a car parked there and tried to rape her (the rest of the details are kept in the system). K. says that this is a guy in his 20s, he was dressed to go out. The situation was also difficult for my son who is 9 years old and saw everything and also heard me detailing everything in a conversation with the police station. I of course reported to the school counselor. I accompany the girl and I also referred her to an assistance center for victims of sexual assault."
Parents of children in the neighborhood are worried following the incident since it is known that this is a neighborhood where families and children live.
The police told Lai Pa:
"A report was received from welfare about the incident. The matter is under investigation and a suspect has not yet been caught."
The resident is concerned that the reform is to take the power that no democratic country has for the supreme judges and the bar association to be the majority in the committee for the appointment of judges where the elected officials do not have a majority - an undemocratic thing.
The reform is to demand from the High Court to stop harming the balance and separation between authorities and to understand that the legislators are only members of the Knesset and not a super government on behalf of the High Court in petitions with a wink of the left opposition.
And Shabget cannot divide morals and determine the identity of the state as it sees fit by improperly using fundamental laws that were also passed without a privileged majority.
And that because of the serious deviation from its authority, the Knesset has the full right to enact a law of supersession that will require a new discussion or oblige to carry out the will of the people even though it does not sit well with the judges towards their friends in European absolutist liberalism because it does not suit our situation and our security. Such a clause also exists in dozens of democratic countries.
So those who do not understand what they are shouting about are you.
It is unacceptable that rape is accepted less than throwing a shoe at a judge.
We need reform.
Only reform will create deterrence, today they are released when they give an apology and express remorse.
Urgent change/reform in the court is a scandal what is happening there.
Kobi is absolutely right, the Arab who raped the girl in front of her children got 5 years and will be released for good behavior in cleaning a third.
A beautiful legal reform is needed one hour earlier.
Maybe a reform is needed regarding minimum sentences, increase the number of judges to shorten the trial time and more. But these are not the issues of the current reform, the purpose of which is to transfer all influence to the hands of the political system - in other words, to the hands of the government and the politicians.
Seemingly another sexual case of many that only reinforces the urgent need for legal reform and aggravation of prison sentences.
It doesn't hurt you that criminals, thieves, thieves, rapists and perverts come to the judges and somehow get out with ridiculous sentences! How long!?
Instead of the people demanding stricter punishments and death sentences for convicted murderers (and not just for terrorists, for every murderer, as in some parts of the USA) and severe sentences of 30 years for rapists and thieves standing delusional protesters and protesting against the reform!?
This is not a matter of right or left at all, as law-abiding citizens we should demand legal reform and tougher punishments for convicted criminals.
You don't even understand what the "reform" is about!
The goal of the government is to take away the power from the courts completely and not to make the punishments worse as you wrote.
