The Millennium company, which submitted the best offer in the tender, will operate the silo for 6 years, while Hani can extend the contract to 10 years.
The Israel Ports Development and Assets Company (HANI) has chosen the proposal of the Millennium Group as the winner of the tender for the management, operation and maintenance of the active silo in the Port of Haifa.
According to the terms of the tender, the concession period for operating the silo will be for 6 years and Hani will have the right to extend the period up to 10 years.
The silo in the port of Haifa covers an area of about 25 dunams, in the western part of the port. Since its establishment in the 50s of the last century until October 2021, the silo was operated by the Dagon company - Israel silos, and then by the Gadot company.

Hani recently invested millions of shekels in the development and modernization of the silo in Haifa, including the restoration of the platform, replacement of the conveyor belts, installation of new and accurate scales, treatment of dust hazards, in-depth treatment of the electrical systems and more. In addition, Hani has committed that in the coming years it will invest additional resources and carry out Renovation works and improvement of the unloading systems and adaptation of the silo to modern dust prevention standards.

During the year 2022, approximately 3.5 million tons of wheat grains, corn, soybeans, barley and more were unloaded in the silo at Haifa Port. The cargo was unloaded from the ships docked at the designated dock in the port, transferred to temporary storage in the silo structure using a conveyor system and handed over to the carriers in accordance with the importers' instructions, to trucks and railcars.

CEO of the Israel Ports Company (HANI), Yitzhak Blumenthal:
"As part of Hani's policy to increase competition and efficiency at the seaports, we issued a tender for the operation of the silo after making a significant financial investment in the dock itself as well as in improving and upgrading the silo. I am convinced that the company that won the tender will provide quality services to all nuclear importers in Israel and thanks to the improvements made to the silo and the dock the unloading and transportation capabilities will be more advanced and efficient.'
Millennium Company:
The winner of the tender, the Millennium Group, is a family-owned group, which was established in 1999 by businessmen Pinchas and Shimon Sabah. The group operates comprehensive logistics services nationwide, including transportation and transportation of cargo, storage services and diverse logistics services.
Hani harms the city of Haifa and is one of the biggest harms to the city in terms of pollution, cutting off the city from the sea, preventing a tourist port that would put our city on the tourism map.
!!!
Silos should be established only in the Haifa Bay in the other ports.
The Dagon silo building should be turned into the largest art museum in Israel. Like they did with the Tate Modern.
Millennium company, good luck, you are number one in the service
Stop poisoning these rogue residents
