The President's wife, Mrs. Michal Herzog, came to the Lev Chas Association in Haifa

A particularly moving state visit took place this week at the Lev Chas Association in Haifa, when the wife of the President of the State, Mrs. Michal Herzog, dedicated her time and came to visit and donate to the Lev Chas Association.

The visit took place at the Lev Hash Complex, which provides assistance to needy families, the elderly and the sick and their families.

The tour began at the dental clinic for the needy and those entitled to a rehabilitation basket, from where Mrs. Herzog continued to the equipping and equipping center, which is used by thousands of needy people a year. During her visit, Mrs. Herzog met families and children dealing with cancer and long-term illnesses.

No resources are spared

The families and the children shared with Mrs. Herzog the difficult challenges they experience every day, and in the special place of Lev Hash, which does not spare any resources to ease their suffering and suffering, through a variety of activities and projects, such as social and academic tutoring for the sick children and their siblings, support groups For the parents of the sick and recovering children, activities in the oncology department such as events, a social cafe and more.

"We would not have survived the journey without the support of the association"

"They do everything for us"

A warm home for children and families

Dekla Cohen Michaeli - CEO of the association, presented to Mrs. Herzog the activities of the association and the variety of projects in the various fields, and the flagship project behind the association's vision - to establish a warm home for children with cancer - the hotel project for children with cancer.

Mrs. Herzog gave, using virtual reality glasses, a virtual tour of the hotel, the construction of which is being completed these days, near Rambam Hospital, for the benefit of hundreds of children with cancer and their families.

Mrs. Herzog was accompanied by Yehoshua Rauchberger - founder of the association, attorney Ron Burnett - board member, Dekla Cohen Michaeli - executive director of the association, Yaakov Gadot - public board member and former VP of marketing at Elbit, Yosef Rauchberger - board member, and Dr. Shafra Ash - Director of the Pediatric Oncology Department at Rambam Hospital.

At the end of the visit, Mrs. Herzog wished the association's staff to continue saving lives and supporting so many children, families and people who need it.
