(live here with the surfers in the storm) - A surfing competition in particularly stormy seas is taking place at this time (Monday 6/2/23) at the Gulf Port in Haifa. Such a competition can only be held on such days, in storms and powerful storms, when the sea is rough and raging. The competition took place this year at Kiryat Haim beach, next to the Mizrachi (Chinese) port. The surfers call the place the "Beach of the Tails", because according to the state of pollution in the Kishon area, whoever surfs there will grow a tail.
The competition is taking place today, after the participants waited for such weather to arrive, with the Gulf port ("the Chinese port") being one of the only places in the country where these special conditions exist that enable its existence.
What did you take a picture of him talking about? Where are the surfers?
An important article by Aki Flexer on the live website of Nega Karmi. A fun evening.
