(living here in a stormy sea) - The professional windsurfers and kitesurfers are flocking to Haifa and are now surfing in a storm in the Bat Galim area. The wind speed reaches 32 knots (about 55 km/h) and the sea is rough. A short time ago (Sun. 5/2/23, 15:20 p.m.) Yuval from the lifeguard station at Bat Galim beach spotted a surfer Kate in distress, far from the beach. Since a club The surfers at Bat Galim have been closed since 2010, the lifeguards and the maritime police are the ones who rescue and save the lives of surfers who get into trouble.
At the decision of the station manager, Raphael Elbaz, two lifeguards - Shay Danino and Ebrahim Shavish - went to the aid of the surfer on a jet ski, to a distance of about 3 km from the shore, in high seas and strong winds.

The lifeguards, who have a lot of experience, reached the surfer, put him on the rescue rig of the motorcycle and brought him safely to the beach, safe and sound.
It is worth noting that the surfer even asked them, as far as possible, to save his valuable surfing equipment as well, the rescuers complied with his request and with great effort saved the equipment as well.
Well done to them, it's not trivial. As he looks in the video, he is all full of satisfaction and happiness (what a smile....) It seems that even without a jet ski (which was not available until a few years ago), he would have gone on a mission to save lives! Inhale!!!
Kudos to the rescuers
All the best to the rescuers, there is nothing for them in the world ♥️♥️
Lucky slapped me, the fair lady from London who was waiting for us and that's how I got to know Aki, this special man.
Aki is a charming man. I met him at Bat Galim Beach, a photographer with supreme grace
Champions. Be healthy
Well done.
Thank you very much to everyone who helped surfer Kate - who got into trouble. Have a good week
Respect to the rescuers of Bat Galim that the sea flows in their blood and the surfers know that there is someone to trust ❤️?
Kudos to the courage and the mutual help, strength to the rescuers
"He who saves one soul from Israel is as if he saved a whole world"
Only from Israel.
All the rest are worth nothing huh? Like in your holocaust
Whoever saves one soul, as if he saved the whole world.
This is the proverb. Indeed, there was no need to add Israel.
but!!! Mr. St. Andrews!! You don't have to launch an ugly attack like you did. And certainly not to mention the Holocaust, which as far as I understood from your response did not touch you and your family. Therefore, it would be good if you didn't mention her at all!!@
An exemplary rescue operation. Inhale!
Such people inspire hope for a better future of solidarity and mutual help.
Well done!
yes. But let's not forget that they get paid.
How many doctors would become doctors if they weren't paid?
Well done!! Long live the rescuers!
