The municipality of Kiryat Ata has completed the construction of a professional and advanced skatepark complex in the city. The complex located in the sports park (Nathan Spritzer St.) covers an area of about one and a half dunams and is divided into levels of difficulty, including different routes suitable for beginners and advanced players.
The complex includes high ramps, professional tracks, boxes and surfaces simulating real streets. The tracks of the complex were tested by the best experts, including international skaters who accompanied the project professionally.
This week the complex was opened to the general public at a happening with the participation of professional and leading skaters from all over the country, who demonstrated exercises to the residents of the city who came to be impressed by the facility.
The mayor, Yaakov Peretz:
"The new skatepark joins the ninja complex and the establishment of fitness complexes that are part of the extreme complex established in the municipal sports park for the benefit of the city's children and extreme enthusiasts. This is good news for many residents who until now had to travel outside the city to enjoy a high-level professional skatepark complex."
