Good news for the residents of Haifa and Kiryat: line 1 will be operated with increased frequency and throughout the night!
Connecting Haifa and Kiryat, also at night
From Thursday 29/12/22 - Line 1 of the matron will be increased by traveling every 20 minutes throughout the night. Starting this Thursday, the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety will increase the activity of Line 1 in the matron by 3 trips per hour, from midnight to 5 am. This is in order to make the service accessible to the public even at night, to meet the actual demand and to enable proper public transportation that will be a good alternative to the private car.
Line 1 of the Matron, operated by the "Superbus" company, is one of the most significant lines in the public transportation system in the Haifa metropolis and operates 24 hours a day and every day of the week. The line goes from the Kiryat center in the north of the Kiryat to the Carmel beach center, and operates most of the day with a high frequency of 6 minutes on average, according to the needs of the public. From midnight to 5 in the morning, the line has operated every half hour so far.
The increase in the frequency of line 1 joins an extensive upgrade of public transportation in the area over the past six months, including the activation of line 4, which connects the Kiryat Central Station to the Carmel Beach Central Station, through the Carmel Tunnels and the Grand Canyon, and Line 5, which connects Yegor, Nesher and the Hadar neighborhood in Haifa.
the matron
In Matron, modern and spacious articulated buses are used, which move along most of the route on a designated route that gives priority at traffic lights to public transportation, for a fast, comfortable and safe ride. The buses that are used by the matron lines can transport 137 passengers, of which 47 are seated, and next to each seat there is a USB socket for the passengers to use. The buses have five doors and low floors and are therefore particularly accessible to passengers with mobility disabilities.
Tzachi Neve, CEO of Superbus:
"We are happy to increase the frequency of trips on Line 1, which serves the residents of the Haifa metropolis and encourages the use of public transportation. Superbus will continue to work to adapt its services to the needs of public transportation passengers and our customers."

Pay attention to empty marketing -
Reinforce the line. By how much it will be increased - no one writes.
Most of the supplementary lines in Haifa and Kiryat stop operating for 2-3 hours
In order for people to be able to give up a private car, intercity transportation late in the evening and on Saturdays is just as important. For example, a train until midnight.
Good, now line 3 all night
The number of passengers who go up to the matron and don't attack is huge, I think about 50% don't attack. Then there are the passengers who don't attack in the hope that a visitor doesn't board, and if a visitor does come up, they attack before he checks them. They don't give fines (I've never seen a matron inspector give a fine and I travel at least twice a day in a matron) they have no authority to drop off a passenger who hasn't paid.
There is no real enforcement in the matron, so why are there visitors at all? On Egged buses, the inspectors enforce and I saw that they give fines to passengers who didn't ticket. On the express route in Kiryat and the cities of the north it's best because the ticketing device is near the driver's door and the entrance is in front.
Kudos to the Superbus Materni company for reinforcing line 1. Have a good day
In the morning at 6 o'clock matron number 1 is every 12 minutes and very busy before line 4 was between 5 and XNUMX minutes and now it is busy and crowded there are a lot of people going to work like sardines
Please check the schedule of line 1 and you will see that every 5-6 minutes a matron leaves, especially during rush hours.

Line 4 connects the Kiryats with the Carmel Beach Central Station through the Carmel Tunnels. The line travels along the route of Line 1 to the Gulf Central Station and continues to the Carmel Tunnels, the Grand Canyon, the Congress Center, the Haifa Mall and the Matam Junction.
Line 5 connects Yegor via the Bar Yehuda interchange in Nesher to the Hadar neighborhood in Haifa.
There is also line 5a that connects Yagur and Rambam Hospital in Haifa and usually operates on weekends. The line travels similarly to the route of line 5 to the Paz Bridge and continues on the route of line 2 to Rambam Hospital and the Haifa Bat Galim train station through the police headquarters. The lower city, the German colony, the defenders and the Dolphin junction in both directions.
And when will a metro line be paved to the Ziv center in Neve Shanan? There is a concentration of the population of Gado and the congestion on the roads is burdensome
