(live here with the neighborhoods) - The lantern tour in the Ramat Alon neighborhood has already become a community tradition, when every year the residents get to light up the holiday for dozens of families who choose to come for an evening full of magic! Parents with the children, grandparents with the grandchildren... all together happily celebrate the brightest holiday of the year!
Under the sky, all the residents of the neighborhood, families and friends walk together, among the decorated trees in Ramat Alon Park, accompanied by drummers and the sound of shofars, holding colorful lanterns that light the way, with a cryptic map, riddles and tasks, all together celebrating Hanukkah.

A few days before the Hanukkah holiday, Ramat Alon began distributing Hanukkah kits, gifts to the elderly residents of the neighborhood, purchased by the local community center. "It was exciting to see the smile and joy on the faces of the elderly when we arrived at their home and gave them the gift," said the activists.

On Monday, the second candle of Hanukkah, the traditional communal lantern tour was held in the Hassidim Umut Ha'alam park in the neighborhood, with the participation of dozens of parents and children, as well as grandparents who came to rejoice with their grandchildren.

The event began with an excited gathering at the gates of the park, the participants were divided into groups, received lanterns and immediately turned to the entertaining tasks prepared for them: a kahoot quiz about the neighborhood and the Hanukkah holiday, completion of a code map, a Hanukkah song contest with prizes (which came from a giant merry-go-round that came down and dangled from the tree) and more And other tasks full of pleasure, fun and laughter.

Finally, the treasure was found - a treasure chest with the lost oil jar, full of chocolate coins and spinners that were happily distributed to all participants, young and old.
At the end, everyone gathered to light a candle in a huge menorah, and of course, devoured delicious donuts to their delight.

Every day a candle - on a different street
It should be noted that throughout the holiday there is a neighborhood candle lighting in Ramat Alon, according to Rehovot - "connecting candle" - every day on a different street. This is in addition to the lighting of candles on all days of the holiday in the neighborhood community center, and the distribution of donuts to the participants of the classes and the residents.
One of the residents of the neighborhood concluded with excitement: "There is nothing wrong with the Ramat Alon community! Thank you to all the partners and initiators. Thank you for a happy and communal Hanukkah in the neighborhood."

And here is the place to thank all the partners and those who do the work: Nir Ramati, director of the Ramat Alon community center and the community center staff, who worked hard for the success of the events. To the tribe of scouts "Epik" for their partnership, willingness and mobilization, to Raymond and Shmolik Moskovich, residents of the neighborhood, for their spirit of giving and volunteering, and of course, to the lovely children and the wonderful residents of the neighborhood. We are already preparing for the Tu Bashvet events in the community garden and the Purim event.

The connection of the residents in the neighborhood is charming in my eyes
It's interesting that all the photos were taken at the same time by two photographers?
One holds the camera and the other presses the shutter button?
